Minutes – 05-05-2026

The Meeting was called to order at 9:00am
Attending: Holly Tobiason, Kathy Chambers, Lisa Adair & 23 Club members
Introductions:
• Holly Tobiason introduced the Board and new members.
Meeting Minutes from April 14, 2026:
• Reviewed & approved minutes – Motion to approve by Suzanne Knutson Minutes approved.
BUDGET:
• Kathy Chambers provided a Treasurer’s report update. The 2026 budget needs to be approved. That will be done at the next meeting on June 2, 2026.
2026 Season Review:
• General Information:
Weekly games can now be played on Tues, Thurs, Fri, Sat & Sun. It was clarified that this is an option ONLY on the weeks of fun games and NOT during weeks of WSWGA or monthly medal competitions. Scores must be turned in to the Pro Shop by Monday morning. “Live Tourney” is the preferred method of scoring. Brian will need to know if you plan on playing in the “Game of the Week” by Monday morning so he can prepare scorecards.
• Birdie Tree: Place a paper bird on the birdie tree in the locker room for any birdie made ANY day!! All birdies welcome.
• High School Girls Golf Closet: In the Ladies locker room is an area where ladies can donate gently used, clean golf clothing, shoes, and equipment. The local high school golf team will visit the “closet” and select items for free. Questions: Reach out to Debbie Phibbs, Denise McDonald or Paula Thomas.
• Committee Volunteers:We still need volunteers to help with several committees. Please check with Holly for specific descriptions.
Christmas Party Game of the Week Horse Races (monthly) Photography – new members photos
• Snacks at the Turn: On Horse race day the Ladies Club will provide snacks at the turn. Denise McDonald, Debbie Phibbs & Paula Thomas volunteered to manage this.
• Eclectic Cards: 2026 Eclectic cards are available. You must be playing with another Club member to enter your eclectic scores. Members playing from the GOLD tees must mark their cards to designate they play from GOLD tees.
• SCORECARDS: Brian will be scoring all of our game days. Please turn your scorecards into the Pro Shop. Be sure to sign and date your scorecard. Weekly winners will be posted on the website and announced at each Club meeting.
MISC Information:
• The Ladies Invitational is July 9 & 10 and is currently sold out. 2026 theme is farming based. Raffle baskets are welcomed & appreciated.
• 2-person Best-Ball event is June 2nd and 9th. Sign up is in the Pro Shop
• WSWGA list of 2026 tournament schedule has been added to our website.
• The Ladies Club is hopeful about setting up a day to invite the local high school girls team to play with us. All details TBC
• 2026 Team schedule is now on the bulletin board. May 21st event is at Mill Creek. Team event will be at Skagit in June. We will need 8 players from Skagit at each event. See Patti Baith for details.
• Ryan discussed overall condition of the course and is planning some fun & creative activities.
