Weekly Games
Procedures – To Enter Ladies Club Weekly Games
- All play is governed by USGA rules.
- Player's first and last name must be written on the scorecard. DO NOT ADJUST SCORES ON SCORECARD. All scorecards must be signed, attested, and dated, then turned in to the competition box in the lounge. Player should use adjusted score when posting.
- All members must have a handicap. To establish a handicap, please call Brian or Craig in the Pro Shop. Post all your scores on the USGA GHIN app, and adjust the score using the World Handicap System.
- Players' handicaps will be adjusted daily. Please check your phone or see the list either at the Pro Shop or at the Competition Box.
- SLOW PLAY: Players are expected to play in 4 hours. Please keep up with the group in front of you.
- FAST PLAY: Players are to be considerate and not "push" the group in front of them unnecssarily.
- DRESS CODE: Ladies' shirts must have a collar or sleeves (no tank tops). Apparel displaying verbiage of slogans, sayings, quotations, and etc. is not allowed. Torn, faded, or altered jeans are prohibited. Hats are suggested to be removed in the dining room. It is your responsibility to see that your guests dress appropriately. The golf course is spikeless. Soft spikes or tennis shoes only.
Explanation of Weekly Games
Best Nine
Total of ANY nine holes minus 1/2 of your HDCP.
Best Two of Four Ball
This is a 4-person team event. On each hole, team score is total of two best net scores.
Better Ball Twosome
Choose your own partners. Handicaps must be within 10 strokes of your partner. Select the low net score for each hole, strokes where they fall.
Better Nine
Select either front or back nine minus 1/2 of your HDCP.
Circle Nine
Before play begins, each player circles their 9 scoring holes. Only one par 3 may be circled. Add scores and subtract half of course handicap.
Criers
Take your worst 3 hole scores and make them pars. Then subtract full handicap for net score.
Criss Cross
Select the better hole of 1 or 10, 2 or 11 etc. Total of nine holes minus /2 of your HDCP.
IF
Throw out worst hole minus your full HDCP.
Monthly Medal
Currently, Monthly Medal is played on the third Tuesday of the month and there are three divisions with low gross and low net. Keep a separate scorecard, record your gross score and subtract your course handicap from that day. Scorecard must be signed, dated, and attested by another player. Three of the Monthly Medals shall be WSWGA tournaments (May – Elizabeth Dwan Memorial, June – State Team Tournament, and August – All State Medal Tournament. Mutt & Jeff
Five longest holes (1, 9, 15, 16, 18) and four shortest holes (5, 7, 13, 14) and then subtract 1/2 of your HDCP.
Odd / Even
Better score of EITHER all nine even or all nine odd numbered holes minus 1/2 of your HDCP.
Odd Man Out
Record your gross score on each hole. Remove your worst par 3, worst par 4, and worst par 5 scores. Then subtract your full HDCP.
O.N.E.S.
Add all scores starting with above letters (1, 6, 7, 8, 9, 11, 16, 17, 18) minus 1/2 of your HDCP.

Pumpkin Roll
This is a team game. Combine player handicaps and get an average team handicap. Before beginning play, assign a number to each player 1, 2, 3, or 4. After everyone drives, roll one dice and use the player’s drive that corresponds to the number on the dice. If a 5 or 6 is rolled, your team can pick which drive to use. Take total team score and subtract the average team handicap for overall team score.
Putts
Count all strokes made on the putting green. If the ball is on the green and goes off the green, count the stroke that returns ball to the green as a putt. Take this score and subtract half of your HDCP.
Red Dot +1
This is a team game. Record your gross score for each hole. On the scorecard, rotate the red dot each hole. For the team score, use the net score of the Red Dot player plus one net best ball from the other three players. These two scores are totaled for the overall 4-person team score.
Red, White & Blue
Play hole #1 from Gold tees, #2 from Silver tees, #3 from Blue tees, etc. This will be a team game and no score will be posted. Subtract full course handicap from total.
Route 66
This is a team score. Use one net best ball on holes 1 – 6; use two net best balls on holes 7 – 12; use three net best balls on holes 13 – 18. Add all scores for team score.
Stableford
Goal is to get highest number of points. Use net score on each hole. 7 points for net Eagle, 5 points for net Birdie, 3 points for net Par, and 1 point for net Bogie. All other scores are 0 points.
Sunny Delight
Throw out your worst three scores then subtract your full HDCP.
T & F
Add all holes starting with above letters and subtract 1/2 of your HDCP. Example: 2, 3, 4, etc.
Tee to Green
Number of strokes it takes to reach the green. Or subtract the number of putts.
Three Scrooges
Total score less three worst holes minus your full HDCP.
Texas Two Step
This is a team score. Use one net best ball on Odd holes and two net best balls on Even holes. Add these scores for one overall Team score.
Threes
3 – Par 3s, 3 Par 4s, and 3 Par 5s. Then subtract 1/2 of your HDCP.
Tuffies
Nine toughest handicap holes on scorecard minus 1/2 of your HDCP.
Two Person Scramble
Maximum of 8 stroke difference in player handicaps. Each player must use 4 drives. Total score minus average net team handicap.
Waltz
This is a team score. Record individual gross score for each hole. For the team score use one low net score on the first hole, two low net scores on the second hole, three net scores on the third hole. On the fourth hole start over with one low net, fifth hole two low net scores, sixth hole three low net scores and continue with this pattern.
Your Best
One par 3, two par 5s, and six par 4s, minus 1/2 of your HDCP.
