Minutes – 07-07-2026

The Meeting was called to order at 9:00am

Introductions:

  • New member Sam Huntingford was introduced.

June 2, 2026 Minutes:

  • Reviewed & approved minutes. Motion to approve by Laurie McNett. 2nd to approve by Angie Wright. Minutes approved.

BUDGET:

  • Angie reviewed the June 2026 Treasurers Report. The Ladies Club received $1945.00 from the Whiskey Raffle. There were 2 new members. In June, 18 birdies were made on Tuesdays! June expenses were $1043.01. Ending account balance is $7764.65

OLD Business:

  • Please be sure to let us know if you break 80, 90 or 100 for the first time. We want to celebrate those accomplishments with you!

General Information & NEW Business:

  • Committee Updates:

Team, Patti Baith – There is a sign up in the lady’s restroom. 8 lowest handicapped players will go to TEAM tournament. Next Team event is at Useless Bay on Whidbey Island on August 22nd.

WSWGA, Sharon McCarty – 6 club members are going to the WSWGA State tournament at Seattle Golf Club on July 20, 21 & 22. Senior WSWGA event in Olympia is Sept 15. Expect sign up for event in mid-July

Greens, Chris Tonheim – Nothing new to report

Fellowship, Lisa Adair – Please let Lisa know of any SGCC member that may have something going on that sending a card would help.

  • Ladies Invitational:Laurie asked for volunteers to help sell raffle tickets. First day is a 2-person best ball. Second day is a Shamble with 2 scores on even holes and 3 scores on odd holes. One miracle putt for each player, each day.
  • Club Championship: Sign-ups will begin soon. Dates are August 8 & 9. There will be no charge to any Ladies Club member to play. Ladies will have to pay if they want to participate in skins & deuce pots.
  • Pro Shop Info: Craig shared the pairings & handed out scorecards
  • Birdie Tree: Place a paper bird on the birdie tree in the locker room for any birdie made during Ladies Club play. There were 18 birdies made in June!

MISC Information:

  • The Ladies will provide snacks at the turn on the 3rd Tuesday (Horse Race & HIO dinner Day) Chef is preparing snacks for $60! THANKS, Chef!
