The Meeting was called to order at 9:00am

Introductions:
• New member introduced – Lexi Woodmansee.

August 5, 2026 Minutes:
• Reviewed & approved minutes. Motion to approve by Colleen Smiley. 2nd to approve by Patti Park. Minutes approved.

Club Events Review:
• Congrats to Shelley Metcalf as our GROSS Club Champion and to Janice Cummingham as our net Champion.

• Skagit TEAM play finished the season in last place this year
• WSWGA results

• Ladies Guest Day – Raised over $1,500 for Meals on Wheels.
• Semiahmoo would like to have a Club exchange with us!

Skagit won the 1st Club exchange with Bellingham held in July & August.

BUDGET – Treasurer’s Report:
• Angie reviewed July expenses & revenue. We are expecting to receive more funding from the Club Championship raffle. Considering a possible 3rd division or extra pay out on Tuesdays. Extra funds from our Ladies Invitational are being held over to cover the cost of an upcoming 2031 State tournament. A comment was received that the Invitational should be run by the Ladies Club.

• OLD Business:  Volunteers:  We are still hoping for volunteers to run the 2027 Horse Races.

General Information & NEW Business:

• Next Season 9’ers:  This will be more organized and will run 4 or 5 times during the season.  Each 9’er event will have a special program / game.  We are looking for 2 volunteers to run the 9”er group for 2027.
• Pro Shop Info:  Brian shared several common rules and a few “local” rules that we may encounter on the golf course.  Contact our Golf Pros with any rules questions.  Maintenance building expected to be complete by Feb 2027.

**Special request was made to trim the overgrown grass covering drainage grates and sprinkler heads. A dangerous falling hazard.

• Pairings and starting holes were announced. 
•  MISC Information:  NO Horse Race on Sept 15 due to aerification schedule
